I still don't have a clue about where to set up camp. Have hammocks, need trees. :D

We are leaving Wednesday the 17th from West Palm Beach around 6 am. It should take about 5 hours. (4 if my husband lets me drive). Hehehe!

Karen, there are thousands of places to pitch your hammock.

It's hard to tell you where to go if you've never been to the park though.

Last year was my first time at Wanee and we arrived Wednesday around 7pm. As long as you're not trying to pitch your hammock up by the stages you will be fine.

KarenN.....don't worry too much about it....there are many good locations. Just find an area you feel comfortable in...and a couple trees about 10 feet apart. You won't be the only one looking for that perfect spot.....just being there is perfect enough. This place is loaded with trees and ample space. Good luck and have a safe journey.

where to camp is according to when you plan to arrive. The earlier you can get there the better. I f you are a late Wednesday or Thursday arriver...you just have to drive the roads until you find an empty spot. If a spot is empty you just have to take it before the next car finds it. Ask people in an area....usually something is available that might not seem so.
The park is big and there are a million spaces...you just have to find one you like.

I am taking this to heart, STOP worr'n about if they will run out of spaces, bringing the sink, and getting there Tuesday AM. :) NOW I can worry about what I am gonna forget... :) 8-)

Well, I think we are going to plan to find a spot somewhere near the lake.
