Billy Preston cancelled and was replaced by ZZ Top, with cowboy hats and no beards.

And might I add I was 8 at the time and my cool ass parents took me and my brother who was 11 to the show and since then I have been hooked on concerts.

Rock Super Bowl 1982, in the Tangerine Bowl in Orlando (now known as the Citrus Bowl).

John Waite, John Cougar, Loverboy, Fleetwood Mac

IIRC, it was approximatey 1000 degrees in the stands.

Mine was the Platters in November 67. I won tickets on a radio show (I was 16) for a night club performance at the Club Venus in Towson MD. They were tremendous! All the hits, and this favorite birthday ditty:

Live a hundred years.
Drink a thousands beers.
Get plastered,
You... BAD BOY!
Happy birthday to you!

I might mention that my second show was the Marvellettes (April 68), and I got their autographs (I am such an autograph hound).

Third concert?
Jimi Hendrix Experience, Soft Machine and Heir Apparent at the newly opened Merriweather Post Pavilion.
