Post Re: WEAK TICKET AND ARMBANDS
I agree, ticket underwhelming compared to others
Wrist bands that are bar grade, mine broke off the second day last year getting stuff from the cooler. Nice lil walk back to the front gates (got a cart a good bit of it, can't remember her name... have to ask my buddy but it was on river road. Very nice lady).
But getting into the park with no hassles was nice compared to other festies.
It's all good, gonna be a great time!

No, not Live Nation. I love the convenience of print at home. I think last year All Good VIP was a print at home that got you in the VIP registration area where you got your cloth Band w/RFID. Bonnaroo just sent the wristbands. You had to carry them there and they had to attach them. The RFIDs cut down on fake tickets which had become a big enough problem for B'roo. The down side, or Big Brother side, of the RFIDs is that they can track you as you travel around the venue. That and it really jacks up the system if you didn't get properly scanned leaving the venue. next time you went to check in it said you were already inside and had been all night. When it comes down to it, it don't mean a thing but the cloth ones look and more importantly feel MUCH better than the plastic ones.

I HATE plastic wristbands. Almost immediately, it begins to scratch and irritate. OK, it scratches and I irritate, but still.

Perhaps another of the few Wanee VIP advantages...a lanyard badge that's cooler than your bracelet or ticket. I've never thought about it.

I guess it's just part of growing up panic. I've gone through stacks of generic tickets. Can't really say I've ever cared too much, though.

But an SOS / BOS laminate is WAY cool! I have one on my backpack and one on my chair... and one on me!

Thanks, Adam!
