Post Late night Sax show
About every other year I get lucky enough to stumble upon a late night camp show. My absolute favorite of these shows is a band whose name I do not know but features an AWESOME saxophone player.

It always makes my, and whoever decides to wander with me's, night. If anyone could give me a hint of where to find this, I'd be very appreciative.

Welcome to the forum rich00man!

It's quite possible the band you saw was COPE! Which is funny, because this Tampa based band is good friends with many of the BOS/SOS who populate this forum. In fact, I believe their campsite/jam spot is right next to Waneetopia (the BOS/SOS group campsite), near the lake.

Yes, Juan is a superb sax player. 8-) I'm excited for their Wednesday night set on the mushroom stage!!! 8-) 8-)

I'm 100% certain that you are talking about Juan from Cope.

You should be able to find this jam session in Camp Waneetopia.

When exiting the mushroom stage, hang a left, then take the first road to your right and you will be in Waneetopia. There is a big sign

;)

So happy that our favorite local band is finally getting on a bigger stage here at Wanee. Plus they will be on the traveling stage too. Happy dance!

Hey guys thanks for all the help, but the saxophonist from COPE wasn't the guy I was looking for. After a TON of googling, I think I've found him. His name is Jesse Smith, and his and is The Jesse Smith project.

Here's a short video I found of him playing the guitar
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZ4dhcHf7F0

I'm going to send him an email today to ask him if he'll be at wanee this year and where I can find him!

Again thanks for the help!
