How many peeps do you think will be at this???
How many of you guys have bought tix?
Obviously, they have sold out of the early birds....don't know if because of limited time to buy or just that many bought?

Says part of the Lake area will be closed for camping....does this include Waneetopia area?

Does any one know?

When SCI played there on 4/19 and 4/20/03, there were about 9k. The way this is looking, it will be a lot more than that. I'm guessing there were about 7-8k at Magfest during Railroad earth and Willie Nelson. I hope Hulaween is not as crowded as Wanee, but I can see them getting close to 20k-25k no problem.

From what I head, the ENTIRE lake will be closed to camping for artists with another stage set up (Possibly for some late night acoustic acts?)

We have site #5 on the lake. Not sure the no camping part is accurate. Or maybe 35 is far enough away.

I really doubt they get 20,000 or more for Cheese. I'd be really surprised if they got over 10,000.
Plus, Cheese was on fire leading up to '03.

Let's hope it's not a crazy big crowd. Wanee size would not be good...

Sadly, no. I can only swing one this fall (Bear Creek), and then AURA in February.

COME BACK ALICE Part 5

First, the bad news: Linda and her friend had to be up early this morning for an orchid show, so they whisked me out of the Ringside promptly after the first set.

Now, the good news. Correction: great news. Come Back Alice is raging and ready to blow some minds at Hulaween this Thursday at SoSMP in Live Oak. Covers and original music were both delivered with great flair and passion, much to the delight of the dancers and head-nodders who filled the soon-to-be razed Ringside. You have seen at least some of my last four raves about CBA, and each successive show reaffirms that this is a band on the brink of a national breakout. The SCI/STS9 crowd at Hulaween should provide just such an opportunity.

So, for the locals: if you have not seen CBA yet, GO SEE ‘EM ALREADY! I’ll reimburse you if you’re not completely satisfied! (Locals who HAVE seen them need no encouragement!)

Happy Hoopers – please make time in your Hulaween schedule to see Come Back Alice. I guarantee it will be time well spent!
