Hoping my soccer schedule in Huntsville will permit me to catch the Conspirator show. Might need a ride if anyone is potentially available!

WSP in Syracuse on 11/14 (which I probably already said) but now we're looking at stopping on the way home to see Rusted Root in New Hampshire on 11/15... 8-)

Widespread Panic tomorrow @ the Moran theater. Jacksonville Fl

Roosevelt Collier and JJ Grey aftershow at the underbelly. The 2 venues are very close.

Also hoping maybe Derek and/ or Susan stop by for a sit- in. They might be in town between gigs/ etc. whatever it is, I'll be satisfied.
But still want more.

FUTURE VINTAGE, Round 2

“I love it when a plan comes together!” (Full disclosure: I NEVER watched that show!)

On Thursday, I received a notice that Future Vintage, subject of a recent rave, would be playing the next night at the Capitol Beer House in Clearwater, across the street from the beautifully revamped Capitol Theatre. A less-than-adequate description of FV would be Herbie Hancock meets jamtronica. The planets managed to align on short notice; this was my second FV show and Linda’s first. We were not disappointed. They actually started early! and jammed all the way through tunes from their recently released CD and other songs as well. The sound was great and the playing superb!

A quick aside to mention how nice the Capitol Beer House was – clean, open, good sound, great beer, great service. We will be back. Wednesday, November 20th, to be exact. Future Vintage at 8 (or earlier!?!), and then Serotonic! Now there is a match made in heaven – well, MY heaven, anyway.

Future Vintage is Matt Giancola on all manner of keyboards, Trevor McDannel on bass, and Dean Rocco on the traps and the electronic drum pad (I guess that is what it’s called). It was a great night; we were not able to stay to hear the Galbraith Brothers. Future Vintage will be opening again for them at Skipper’s Smokehouse in Tampa on Tuesday, December 10th, with a 7 PM start time. Be there. Aloha.

AND Future Vintage is slated for the Downtown River Jam on December 7th, which might be in Tampa, OR it might be in Ybor City; information at this point is apochryphal.

I’m goin’ anyway!

Yupppppp....
made it to the Tally show....
Dread Clampitt and their upbeat Bluegrass....awesome
Tishamingo and rock and roll
and Donna ....typically DtB Awesomeness.
They limited the number of tix to 600 with about 100 VIP's so there was plenty of dancing room and plenty of room for chairs close to the stage. Probably about 8-10 food trucks with a nice assortment of selections. And a beautiful cool night....a little too cool as I only carried a light jacket......dropped down to 42 during the show but the bands kept everyone warm.
Contacted Adam about going...but he never responded....
Did meet some Magfest goers though.
:D :D :D
