There are things that music can do that language could never do, that painting can never do, or sculpture. Music is capable of going directly to the source of the mystery. It doesn't have to explain it. It can simply celebrate it.(and make you dance your azzoff!)

Two nights of great fun. They did a few from their latest album, got a little electronic for a bit but realed that back in for me. The State Theater in Portland is one of my favorite venues in Maine. We were not able to make it but they did a free three song acoustic set at a local music store before the Friday night show. Check out freindsofcheese.com for the set lists! I did find the Friday show on archive.org.
