Post Re: INTERLOCKEN MUSIC FESTIVAL
Anyone have any thoughts on where to stay on Wednesday night? I'm guessing I'll be lining up pretty early on Thursday morning so I'm guessing a hotel room in Lynchburg or Charlottesville is a smart move.

ill bring my trusty blanket.

i am wondering how far apart the stages are. i would love to be able to camp out in the middle and just 180 to see the next band

they say a stage on each end of a big horse track.

No overlapping sets so the stages could be side by side, like the Mountain Jam main stages... Camped out in the middle of two stages would be sweet though... :D

Chairs are fine in my book. I often rock a chair. Just not up front. Rock'n'Roll is meant for dancing. If they even allow chairs into the concert grounds. Lots of bigger fests don't.

True, I like my seat, I dance around it, keep my area clean. And let any one use it or extras. The front area is made for dancing! Plus its's fun to sit back and watch the crowd!
like someone said with all this awesome music, you're gonna need a seat or a rascal to ride in :)

Can't find where they say that. I had assumed it would be the All Good model with side by side stages.

i am not sure either. i am pretty sure i didn't make it up but i have been known to be wrong about things, almost daily. :D

2 stages side by side would be cool. You have to think they will be close since their schtick is the music never stops.

And they will both be "headliner" stages. In most scenarios they have a main stage with a second stage right next to it. Festy does have the main stage and then the second stage is in a tent at the other end of the concert grounds. But if they put them at opposite ends of that horse track I think they just doubled the infrastructure. If they are side by side then they can share loading, backstage, security, sound booth etc.
