Post VIP vs GA Tix
Wanee Vets - VIP tix are twice the price of GA tix. Are the viewing areas and discounted drinks worth the extra money?

Does anyone know the discount on alcohol in past years?

This is one of the VIP areas. This was taken from the dining area which is a barn like structure that is the dining hall. In the event of rain it is quickly the place to run to. In the pic you see the VIP area is divided from GA with an steel pipe railing.
Sorry don’t remember how much of an alcohol discount it is.Image

Seems to me the beer was $2 or $3. I don't know about mixed drinks.

Assuming that VIP beers cost $3.00 and GA beers cost $6.00 (as I think they were last year). And that my math and/or reasoning does not utterly suck:

GA: 30 beers + $50.00 a day vendor food = $330.00
GA ticket: $195.00
Total cost: $525.00

VIP: 30 beers + free food = $90.00
VIP ticket: $475.00
Total cost: $565.00

How much is the poster, t-shirt, and novelty of the VIP experience worth to you?

I don't think the VIP seating has any value at all. You can get better real estate with some simple planning.

The VIP seating is worthwhile for some and not for others. It makes my wife happy, and I would rather have her with me than not. Life is a series of negotiations and compromises.

If you drink 30 beers you’re gonna love the VIP Restroom!

Thanks for the picture and $$ breakdown.
I had looked through the forum and hadn't found this exact information.
Thanks for the detailed responses!

I think we are going to skip VIP, but will definitely be seeing you in April! The lineup is too good to be missed.
