You guys are sooo sweet, but unfortunately I have to skip this one too. Way too much death and destruction going on in my life for a party. See you at the next gathering.

A rainy day (or night) at the SoSMP is better than a dry workday spent in a cube farm... ;)

Music festivals are a group experience. Many folks come together due to their shared love of music (and stuff).

At a festival, you're close by folks you might not usually be that close to - either by choice or by chance.

R@in makes that group experience even more intimate. As you huddle up under whatever shelter is available, you're more'n likely to be elbow-to-elbow with others. We all 'lower our guard' as it were; we relax our rules about our personal space - when seeking shelter from a storm with our sisters and brothers. And in that process, ra|n makes a group experience, an intimate one. (Whether we think of it that way or not...)

So, yeah. Git your gear on, and shake a tail feather. Dance on yer good foots, and keep your spirits high! I'll add my chants and prayers for clearing skies over the Spirit. Wishing all yall: safe trips, and a joyful, intimate experience - wherever you are.

Volkeman dropped off about a million cookies. They weren't tie dyed, but just old fashioned yummy goodness. The dark chocolate chip and walnut were my favorites.
