As great of a time as we had, I have some serious reservations about returning for another rodeo up there. Esp with so many great shows in my neck of the woods... Of course if tickets landed in my lap for Christmas, I would definitely go.

Post Re: Lockn' 2014
I'm there. I had a blast this year. I did have to wait for over 8 hours on Thursday and missed Keller and Warren, which was the worst part of the weekend but I did meet some really cool people in line and had a good time drinking and talking to everybody. I'm sure they will do something to figure out the line issues. The fest itself was incredible though. The music was spectacular and so were the people. Only thing about the music was I was under the impression that at some point there would be a band on both stages jamming together to interlocking sets. I also thought Fogerty was gonna play the entire set with Panic instead of only 7 of 21 tunes. Those arent very big problems so I will still be in attendance next year. A tip to those who will be going for first time next year, vendors weren't allowed to sell any glass pieces so bring your papers.

We will be there, RV in tow! Sorry to all that waited for hours in line, we actually were only in line for about an hour before we got parked. I'm sure that will be looked at for 14.

Andie Bee! Don't say you're not going yet! I know how you are! :)

Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh announced a deal with Port Chester’s Capitol Theatre for 2014. The deal includes up to 30 shows at the Capitol Theatre throughout the year as well as multiple shows at various venues operated by Relix publisher Peter Shapiro including Brooklyn Bowl and Capitol Theatre.
A kickoff show will take place at Williamsburg’s Brooklyn Bowl November 14 and then the series will begin in April of 2014. Lesh will appear at Brooklyn Bowl’s new Las Vegas outpost April 20 as well as the second annual Lockn’ Festival in Arrington, VA September 5-8. Furthur, featuring Lesh and Bob Weir, appeared at the inaugural event this year.

The dates are not correct but it sounds like the first announcement!

Where did you end up camping Jeff? Planning the same next year?
