Short Cut 2014-A Wicked Short-Cut Through Oz
Short Cut Camp(SCC) will be back again this year.
Last year, Alice and the gang, took us down the Rabbit Hole into the Land of Wonder.
This year Dorothy will be leading us on an adventure around Oz.
For those of you who do not know, SCC sets up a theme camp every year at Wanee. This year will be,
A Wicked Short-Cut Through Oz
SCC was founded on the premise of a Short Cut trail, that leads from This road(back exit road) to That road(Hippy road). we made this trail so people would walk on it and not through our camp. Now that has morphed into some uniquely magical and an experience you will not regret checking out.
Location: (In the Pine Field camping area.) When leaving the gate, up the hill from the Amphitheater, take your first left, just outside the gate(before the Ice/firewood guy). You will see the bath house up on the left. Take the left way before the bath house(or take the left after the bath house) and look for the light in the trees. The left before the bath house is Hippy road, we are down Hippy Rd on the left.
If you get lost, just ask around. Our camp is in the woods, directly behind the Mushroom Stage(Amphitheater).
What to expect: As far as the trail, look around, check it out, during the day the trail sleeps per se and comes alive at night time. We have some visual stimulation art projects and will be involved in daily activities as well. More to come on that.
, With the Lack of witches(we hear there is a conference for them over there) in the area, the people of Emerald city will be out and about. Members of SCC and Emerald City inhabitants will be dressed in their best and brightest Emerald Green outfits, many participating in the old tradition of Tutu Thursday. We want a sea of GREEN
We ask, invite, encourage each and everyone to join us in this madness.
, we are currently assigning characters as we speak, the Wizard of Oz cast will be roaming the grounds of SOSMP. We ask you to join, we can always use more Flying Monkeys and Munchkins!
Looking forward to a great Wanee. See you there!
