I *love* the Marshall Tucker of the 70s. Where We All Belong has the greatest guitar work on Everyday I Have the Blues and on Ramblin'. While I haven't heard too much of the current line up, thinking Doug Gray is the last original member, I'm thinking they've turned more toward tradition country, not my thing. Am I wrong? Very sad to hear of Doug's wife, though. Another recent death was George McCorkle, the original rhythm guitarist who died last summer of cancer, meaning at least 3 original members are now gone. :-(

Feaaaaaaaat! Both days! Like the Kenny Wayne Shepard someone mentioned. Black Crowes would be great. Walter Trout would burn the place up- he can totally shred. Jimmy Thackery along them same lines. How about the Flaming Lips for a touch of bizarre- not great musicians, but they are wierd.

I would LOVE to see Reid Genauer & Assembly of Dust. Mostly because I haven't seen Reid perform since he left Strangefolk and I'd love to get him to come down South!

We haven't discussed it specifically, but I can prett much guarantee that my hubby will agree with me whole-heartedly :D

I have to say, I was a bit bummed there were no jams that Brett got to sit in on. He and Paul jammed the 1st night we arrived on Wednesday, but other than that, the gits didn't leave their cases. waaaaa

Tried to tell him & Dick darlin' ... The Special peoples Camp rocked every night.

Those live recordings are unbelievable. You also had 24 Hours At A Time and Hit The Highway on there. That song Everyday is a must listen for all.

MTB is in bad shape now. Doug Gray has long since lost his voice.
