Post Bear Creek lineup announced
Umphrey's McGee will return to Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak to headline the Bear Creek Music Festival Nov. 13-16.

The Indiana band, which played at the same venue last weekend as part of Wanee Fest, will play two sets at Bear Creek. Lettuce, Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk, Budos Band, New Mastersounds, Orgone, the Nth Power, See I, the Main Squeeze and the Alecia Chakour Band will also play two sets each at the festival.

Others scheduled to perform are Break Science, Alan Evans Playonbrother, Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds, Turkuaz, Tauk, Yojimbo, the Heard, the Dirk Quinn Band, Come Back Alice, Copious Jones, S.P.O.R.E., Green Sunshine and Captain Green.

Tickets go on sale May 7. They are $165 through July 16, then go up to $195 until Sept. 24, $215 until Nov. 5, $225 until Nov. 12 and $245 at the gate.

Listening to Toubab right now. Love those Asheville boys. We've seen all of the name bands on that list except I See.

Good Gourd! Look at that feller's geetar! Badass!

It's a funk fest with lots of stages including a really cool "Silent Disco" where errbody wears headphones so as not to wake the sleepers.

Pretty much the same as Wanee....They use the Peach and the Mushroom....and they set up a stage when I was there out in the camping area around the lake...(not far from where we were camped Jeff).
Plus they use some tents for some late night dj stuff...and they used the Music Hall for some acts. It was great to go to the Music Hall....because it got down into the 20's at night that year.....and it was warm inside.
