SOUTH FULTON COUNTY, Ga. —
A hunter says he found a naked man who had wandered away from Tomorrow World on his property in the Chattahoochee Hills last Thursday.
Casey Sanders said he went deer hunting on his property in south Fulton County when he said he heard a voice calling nearby.
“He says, ‘I’m naked’ and I look down and sure enough there’s a guy standing in the middle of the creek with nothing on," Sanders said.
Sanders said, he feared the worst so he turned on his phone and started recording.
“Because if anything happens I wanted people to know what happened,” said Sanders.
Sanders recorded the conversation and uploaded it to YouTube. The video has since gone viral having been viewed almost a million times.
In the video, the man says he’s from Atlanta but can’t remember his address.
“That’s when I realized this guy is not a threat,” said Sanders. “He really is lost and it’s time to help him at this point and I’m going to try and do something for him.”
The man said the last thing he remembered was leaving the music festival Tomorrow World, which had ended five days later on a piece of property several miles away.
Since then, the man had lived off creek water and rotten crab apples.
Sanders said, the man told him three men dragged him into the woods, stripped him down and beat him. But that story didn’t check out.
Channel 2 contacted the Fulton County Police Department who said they never got an incident report. On Friday, the man, who wants to remain anonymous, told an online reporter that he had taken a mix of drugs while at Tomorrow World and wandered off.
The man has since thanked Sanders for saving his life and is recovering at home.
Meanwhile, Sanders said he has the craziest hunting story ever.
In the clearing stands a boxer and a fighter by his trade and he carries the reminders of every glove that laid him down and cut him till he cried out in his anger and his shame, "I am leaving, I am leaving"...
...But the fighter still remains.
