 Question about the Wailers???
Can someone please explain the difference between "The Wailers" and "The Original Wailers" to me? I was trying to reasearch it on-line but there is no real explaination what the difference is.

 Re: Question about the Wailers???
Maybe they have people from the original band in both bands like Trans Siberian Orchestra which have and east coast and west coast band?

 Re: Question about the Wailers???
Im pretty sure there is originals in both, But why wouldn't they make one band? Im sure there was a fallin out or somthing. Its confusing they both call themselves the Wailers. Its not a big deal. The reason I ask is I bought tickets to see The Wailers here in my area today thinkin it was the same Wailers that were going to be at Wanee. Then I just found out its "The Original Wailers" - completely different band. Im sure it'll be good though!

 Re: Question about the Wailers???
Money is a good reason... but I bout tix thinking it was the other band so the "wailers "just gave my money to "the Original Wailers"
Doesn't matter....just got back from the show.....gonna be hard to beat what I just saw. Sick dueling guitars. Good show by the "Original Wailers".. Lookinging forward to " The Wailers" and most importantly...WANEE!!!! Think I recruited some new wanee goers tonight.

 Re: Question about the Wailers???
ok, its a little confusing at first. i am friends with the tour manager for years and have been seeing these guys since 02. Everybody played in the wailers for years. Familyman (bass) Al Anderson & junior marvin (guitars) Earl Waya Lindo (keys) were all original band members who actually played with Bob. Familyman, who has been with Bob since the real early days, was like the "headman" and leader. But unfortunately he was very tight with the money and everyone didnt get what they felt they deserved.
So Junior and Al started their own band called the orginal wailers with Earl sometimes.
They are both great bands but really dont enjoy each others company. Too bad, im sure thats not what Bob intended for his music. I love all these guys but sometimes, its about the money.
Either way, im there for the festival. hope this helped
