Re: is this venue kid friendly???
To each their own... but there is no way I would bring my kids to Wanee. Not even the teenager. I don't think its an anti-child enviornment, but I can imagine it would be incredibly hard to enjoy myself if I was chasing around little ones all day and trying to find somewhere "quiet" in the midst of the insanity to allow them to sleep.
I am however, bringing the teenager to Blackwater. Smaller fest, smaller scene.... different story.

There are two options in this life. You either grow old or you die young.
A simple act or words of kindness can make such a big difference in one person's life. And if that one person passes it on, it can make a huge difference in the world.
The tongue can be as sharp as a sword. Use it with caution lest you cause harm.
And last but not least, remember.... Karma is a bitch!

As far as the chairs go, people should protest to the promoters instead of throwing out blanket statements about old people. I happen to agree that chairs should not be allowed in the stage area, but until the rules change.....

which is why ebonex dont fit in I am at work and that even put me into hysterics!!! And as for lawn chairs, I don't bring one in, I like to stand and dance and we bring a back up blanket for resting. But I am 26. If I was say 66 I would probably not want to be sitting on the ground all day or getting up and down. So I understand. I wouldn't mind if they were put in a certain area so there was some closer dancing areas. But why complain about such a beautiful time?
