Re: Advice for rookies from a guy who was a rookie last year
I was a rookie last year , here is what I have learned: The showers run out of water completely by the 3rd day, The later you arrive the furthur your walk is back to camp( This makes for great sober sleep as you will need it for all the dancing) , Bring Guiness and cookies, learn inventive ways to hide beer, bring money for gyro's ( 1am treats). And the main thing is :::::::: leave your mind alone and just get high.............oh and if you are a female, make sure you bring a Hula hoop, its a right of passage.

i was able to take a shower every day last year. the water wasn't usually hot and the pressure wasn't great, but i sure wasn't complaining.

If you aren't swimming in that frothy tannin, and bathing like Grizzly Adams would have, you aren't experiencing Wanee 100%. The new Wanee right of passage is swinging from the 60 ft (estimate) rope down by the beach. The advice, I have is, DON'T HOLD BACK, AND LEAVE THE SHOWERS FOR THE SISTERS!

New avatar time I guess. The hair is longer everyday, I hope I have the discipline to let it get "derek" long. Your comment made me think for a second, every fest was a breeze because of my head shaving. That is no longer the case. I still feel a river revival each morning will do me some good.
