Helen is a big ABB fan and the "Hilton" is where she and many (a lot!) of her friends camp. Many of those people are from Tallahassee but others are from all over the country. I think one year it was around 100 people. Also you never know who will drop by the campsite for a meal or to just hangout.

I'm guessing it got nicknamed "The Hilton" because it rhymes and one year she went all out with a huge tent, another tent for showers, yet another tent for a bathroom, and cooking facilities. Helen is a wonderful caring person who really wants everyone else to have a good time. If you go to an ABB or related event in the Southeast (& sometimes elsewhere) you are likely to run into her. I'm very happy to call her a friend.

Other major players in making "The Hilton" work are Nancy, Syd, Pat & Erin. All great folks. Some of them will be camped there early in the week.

How about meeting at the front of the stage after the Radiators show on Thursday? I'm sure we'll be heading over to the Hilton as well.

I like this idea of meeting by the stage before/after the Rads. What if just for this first meeting we all wore a sticker with our screen name on it??

Sounds like a good idea for those of us that are there at that time. However I will be setting up my recording rig part of the time and busy during the first song or two making sure it is running properly. After that its pretty much on auto-pilot.

Also a few people might not show up til Friday morning, sometime friday would be better, but I'll there thurday afternoon if all goes well, evening at the latest.

Nothing to keep us from doing both!

I missed the post about the jam moving to the stable area. That's where we stay and we can't wait to hear that great sounding music that happens from everyone. Count us in for the M&G.

Thanks for saying this. I won't be joining the festivities until Friday afternoon. My flight arrives in Jax at 10am then we gotta grab a rental and hall-ass to the fest.

I was looking at flying in to Jax too.If I went by myself. Wanee is about 1 1/ -2 hours away. So you should get there before the music starts at 3pm. Now I'm flying to Tampa on Thurs. where a friend is doing the 3 hour trek.
