So how about Friday at 11? The shows typically start at noon and we can have an hour to meet in person before the music on stage starts.

So, everyone's been talking about how hot it's going to be. How hot are we talking? I mean, I love the sun and warm weather but HATE humidity. Are we just gonna be sweatin bullets all day? And what about bugs? How bad are they gonna be? Guess we just have to wear less clothes and drink more

It's hard to say no to less clothes and more booze.

If you don’t live in Florida you should be ready for the hottest, muggiest, most uncomfortable weather you’ve ever experienced. The park will be overrun with mosquitoes as well, so you have to prepare for these things. You’ll need sun screen, coolers full of ice and water, and mosquito repellant.

Oh yeah, and BACON!

Make sure the bugspray has deet in it. Means it is serious - and you will need serious.

OH man, I really do hate the skeeters. They LOVE me, not good. Bummer. DEET it is!! I'll just have to keep it moovin and groovin! Won't let'em catch the MIDNIGHT RIDER!

On the subject of badges for a ‘meet and greet’….I emailed the Wanee forum admin to steer me in the right direction to obtain permission to use the graphic. He/she directed me to ‘LiveNation’ as they are the promoters. I went to the Livenation site and no contact info was readily available.

Since Live Nation and TicketMaster have just merged, I am not thrilled with the whole deal. It seems that the ‘convenience charge’ and shipping fees have gotten way out of hand….but I digress.

I’m going to throw out some blank badges and you can do with them as you wish. I tried to size them so that if you print them out, they should be standard badge size. Just add your username, trim, slip into a badge sleeve, and attach to a lanyard or whatever.

If you have a color laser printer available, they work better than inkjet as the colors don’t bleed with moisture and the image usually prints out flatter.
