Don't miss Grayson Capps. He's quite a character and has some great songs. Plus he's from the town in Alabama I was born in

Nothing on the scale of those festivals but here's nice little one:

The Florida Earth Day Jam
http://www.earthdayjam.org
Saturday, April 18
Tallahassee, FL
@ The Bradfordville Blues Club

Outdoors:
Papa Mali
The Soular System
Rebecca Jean Smith
Big Daddy & Red Hot Java
The Sarah Mack Band
Trial By Stone
The Deborah Lawson Group
Bed Head Betty
The New 76ers
Pepper Drive.
They will play on multiple stages so music will be non-stop.

Indoors later that night (separate cover):
Sarasota Slim with Nitro

wow....nice to come back and see all the chatter moving around here......i wanee go now !!!!

just got back from the Cherokee farms party and man o man what a way to start the festivals.
hope to be back with a few pics posted later.

turned out to be an incredible weekend of sunshine and some of the finest pickers around..... too many highlights...
well,,except the Sunday morning episode about 4 am or so when i had just laid in my tent and some inebriated soul comes falling down right on top of my tent and on top of me.....and i was camped at least 25 ft from the road.....i laughed it off but it was freaky at first.
i axed him if he was ok and he said he just hurt his pride,,,then just laid outside my tent and mumbled for at least 10 minutes until he could walk again....pfff.
