 Re: Let the Festivals Begin
Man! I have a picture of me on a tricycle almost exactly like that one, only its black and while. I don't think my cowboy outfit was quite as fancy. Your folks must have had a bit more money.

cgaloot,,,,too funny about the "family had money" thing,,,you should have seen the shacks we grew up in....no joke,,,but we were the happiest little family regardless. even tho i know its uses and the need for it,i don't have much love for money and material things.....there are bigger things in life..imo. check out a few clips from the Keel family fest.... Re: Let the Festivals Begin
I'm with ya', money doesn't mean much to me but the lack of it does. I've been scrapping by for so long I wouldn't know what to do with a lot of money anyway but I would like to try it out!

 Re: Let the Festivals Begin
I just got back from seeing "North Mississippi Allstars" man Luther rocks. I've seen them before at Wanee and at The Fox (Opened for Derek) but I was up front this show. He played this homemade instrument (A stick and a piece of wood maybe 1 1/2' by 1' 1" thick with 2 strings) and blew me away. Remind self get more "NMA" on cd. "Hill Country Revue" opened Cody Dickinson (Luthers Brother) was amazing. He plays drums, guitar, piano and an electric washboard). There cd comes out May 12th, I recommend it, plus they will be at Wanee. Don't miss them.

 Re: Let the Festivals Begin
second installment of my festy adventures start this weekend....ye... Amberland: the Spectacular P-Groove Spectacle... I've been enjoying Perpetual Groove from their first album... actually i saw them at T-dawgs Harvest Fest back long time ago(around 2000/2001, i think),,,they came onstage around midnight and played til nearly sunrise.....whipped us up some funky grooves no doubt... Their 3 day Amberland fest is sort of a family/fan/reunion that is a blast.. on Sunday,Brock will have an acoustic set called Brock's Breakfast that can be really nice to start the day. it's not for everyone, but try on some p-groove and see if ya like.. http://www.pgroove.com/index.php/amberland/
