Anyone up in that area? How is the river doing? The news says that there is a LOT of flooding up there right now? Hope it goes down some God Bless all up that way....

They got some bad storms there last night!

Stormed like all hell here in Tallahassee yesterday. I'm expecting my property to flood again (it just went down from the last batch of storms). The good news both for me and the Spirit of the Suwanee is that it will drop quickly unless we get a bunch more rain. I'm sure things will be fine by June.

For me its really just an inconvenience. Its what I get for owning prime Florida swampland. My place will be ok but getting in and out can become a hassle. I've had to canoe to the door before. Hopefully this time it just means I'll have to take the long way home to get around flooded roads. The good news is that it all runs down my neighbor's sinkhole so we have a drain.

Cyber that is a shame..but live in the swamp too and it is a biotch at times..I remember seeing boats , canoes, and cars floating down my street after a "CANE" yrs ago..Glad that you are ok ....we have been getting it all day long down here and it is not a pretty sight! Just feel bad for all the folks that had the tornadoes this am in Pasco, and Pinellas as well as the ones up north peace and stay safe
