 Re: Open jam and party on Thursday/Friday/Saturday night... I can appreciate the drum circles that really know what they're doing and are led by a good drummer. Otherwise, the drunk guy with the cowbell seems to keep the time, and its all over the place!
Participating in one is a great thing spiritually. You can easily lose yourself in the rhythm, like an active meditation. If the circle is really good, it is magical. I'll be seeking the magical and profound the entire time I'm there...perhaps I'll see you.
