This might have been asked already but has someone in the know compiled a list of the Wanee message board parties going on? Heck, I'll put on my "Petewhit" badge and try to hit every one of them. BTW, I'm in campsite 265. Any member that drops by gets a free shot of something.

I used to have site #263 but I didn't go last year so I lost it. Beware site #265 was my buddy's site and all of those sites along that line are in flood territory as I found out in the Monsoon of 07. But I will drop by for a shot.

I best by a couple of extra bottles of Jager.

I did have the campsite across the street but my buddy wanted to do campsite 265 so I reluctantly went along with it. I think he had a problem with people walking through our campsite last year. I'm glad I'll be in back of the Exterra again sleeping on the baby crib mattress to avoid the rain!

I'll be glad to compile a list of the parties and times. Shoot me and email at pete_whitley@numail.org or respond to this thread and I'll get started. It might be a good idea to not have them all going on at the same time so we miss each other. I'll be getting on Thursday about 2:00 pm.

2. Walk In Any Direction

Yes that's right. Primitive camping is included in the ticket. Most of the park is primitive camping area. A small part is reserved camping spots with water and electric.

Cool....can I still come pitch my tent back there in the partay zone or they're all reserved? Just trying to figure out which direction to head in once we get there.

It depends on what time you are arriving and where you consider the party zone to be. If you like getting spun, you'd like the parties at in the Lake area. If you mean the parties mentioned here, then it's the River Road area.

There are plenty of primitive camping spots close to both areas. If you arrive on Thursday, you can get a good spot.
