Post Re: MULE IN FLA.
We survived the Florida shows and what a great time we had. We accomplished what we set out to do: go to three Mule shows in a row, get to the rail in front of Warren, and not miss a minute.

It was great meeting up with some of the forum members along the way: Kev, Junior, Mike, Cmomma, R-Ne, and Marky. Who did I forget? We made a lot of new friends too. Being down in the pit with the hard core fans is fun.

As far as the band goes, they are without a doubt the best rock band in the World. I will try to recall some of my thoughts as I go along, but I what I can say now is that me and Rita are so glad we did it. We will remember it forever.

LMAO!! check out this article

http://blog.al.com/entertainment-press- ... eturn.html

he last time Gov’t Mule played the Mobile Saenger Theatre, the crowd set a record.
Not for attendance: Turnout for that fall 2006 show was about 1,300, two-thirds of a full house. But Saenger managers have said the audience set a benchmark for concessions — adult beverages, specifically — that stands to this day.

Guitarist Warren Haynes, who’ll bring his quartet back to the venue on Saturday, said he’s not surprised by that story.

“No, not really,” he said. “That seems to have been the case since the inception of the band. We’ve always had a thirsty fan base.”
