So i am thinking of coming to this festy that i have heard many good things about this festival from ky...i planned on taking the whole fam...mom, dad, and kid, are there any more kid friendly than not places to camp?

Ok i'll try a little harder, are trio is leavin for florida via richmond, ky this is our second festival with the egg and we're curious of the size of the festival, it being its' 3-4th yr? i have seen the lake camp sites and river camp sites where are somee other fams going??

Not sure what you asking for. But the is a family area to camp at. You would have to ask the campground where its located. I'm always on river road. Have you seen this map,

I thought i might have to ask upon arrival, are there gonna be gators close by?? sounds silly prob. but i've never been to fl. we'll also be down there for a week, which side of fl have the heady beaches?

With the river flooding right now, I would stay away from the river and yes there are gators, stergeon and there is going to be lots of mosquitoes also.

whoa! thanks for the map. so there is the chapel stage and the peach stage, i'm cornfused about the camping spots, are they gravelly like or more so grass?? i would preferably like to camp on grass...

its a mix, some grass some gravel but lots of trees for shade.

why is it that every yankee is afraid of gators... There are going to be so many hippies in the river the only gators you are going to see are the ones wearing orange and blue.... I wouldnt bring my kids to Wanee. Springfest & Magfest. But there are way to many spunions at wanee and I just wouldnt want my kid to see that.

So wanee is pretty notorious? i have had freinds say its pretty peaceful, kinda family friendly...didnt say i was scared of them just never seen one up close...
