I Got dragged to my first race at Dover, didn't know anything about racing but my buds told me it would be a weekend of drinking beer with 50,000 new friends, thats all I had to hear, I was in and have been going to races ever since. I have been to Dover, Richmond, Pocono,Texas ,Daytona, and have a permanent seat every year at Homestead in November. The July Daytona race rocks!
If anyone has never gone to a race and wants to give it a shot go on the infield for the July NIGHT race..IMO its sure bet for a good time!

I did the infield for the Bud Shootouts and July races for last 10 years and we hahave a stand so we the whole track except the finish line, always had a great time plus its BYOB and food.

Here's a few more. Don't worry the one with my friends kid in it, the bottle is empty and it kinda looks like Wanee after the Monsoon of 07. Fanzone in the infield is awesome too!

I agree the view from the infield is limited, I guess I have gotten spoiled, My brother in law always brings a motor home and gets a spot right against the fence and from the roof the view is awesome, you got your ice cold cooler right at your feet, a toilet with no lines and food right at your fingertips, not to mention the weekend long party going on right below you. For someone who has never been to a race and doesn't understand whats going on sitting in the stands may get kind of long for them. To get a taste of nascar IMO the infield party cant be beat!

I have put in my ticket request from my oil distributor and am waiting to hear back. My motor home hookup cant do both Wanee and Daytona so I am going to plan B.

Talladaga Infield is the best Party (From what i'm told) we should all get togather, buy a spot and check it out?? I'm Willing

Talladega is one I haven't been to but its on my list of thing to do before I die!!!!
