My wife & I have been to all the Waneefests except 2007. Unfortunately, this year we have already made plans to go whitewater river rafting in Tennessee the first week of June, so we can't stay the whole weekend. We are driving up to Tennessee Friday June 5th & we were thinking about going to the show Friday, staying in a hotel Friday night/Saturday morning & then continuing our trip on Saturday. I know in the past, I have heard of people getting a "day pass" to see the bands, but not stay for camping. Has anyone out there done this before? If so, how much were the tickets?

I did it last year,we went out to see the MULE and came home.
It cost about a $100 dollars though!!!!!!

That doesn't make sense. If they did that, what would stop people from just buying the day pass and staying all weekend?

You get a plastic bracelet when you arrive. The single day bracelets are a different color than campers. When you leave the main stage, they normally check to be sure it is the right color before exiting to the camping area.

also... you would have to bring all your camping gear in w. you on foot. You cant bring your car in w. a one day pass. You can still camp but it will be outside the gates.

Thanks Dartdog82 for the email address for Michelle @ Live Nation. I sent her an email asking about this & she said the tickets would be sold the day of the show for $88 each. I'm not sure if that includes all of the "service charges" that they get us for on every ticket they sell, but I sent another email asking her about that. If we can't stay for the entire weekend, it will be cool to get our yearly "Wanee-fix" ... even if it is for just one day. See you guys there!! Oh, by the way, does anyone know why it was moved from April to June?

Not 100% sure but I knew the date before the people at the park did?(i have been calling them since late Dec) They kept asking me where I get the info? I just said a website!! I heard that the river is having a problem with the Sturgeon seriously??? But I also kind of think it had to do with the Scheduling around Warrens band appearances...ABB, MULE & DEAD & recording sessions in the studio... I don't know how in the hell he does it??? But he sure is the busiest guy in the bizz!!! ROCK ON WARREN
