hey,,that rings a bell.....

So our parade route....if we start at the horse stables what would be a good route? We don't want to walk too far considering the music starts at noon but want it to be at least long enough to be a parade.

I have been to the park many times but as all in my group can attest to I am severly directionaly challenged and my memory isn't too good either. So that being said...what would be a good quick parade route?

If the parade started at the beginning of River Road, made a left towards the stables, continued to Rees Lake, and back to the main entrance in a complete circle; it might be about a half an hour walk. Stopping to party with all the friendly people along the way, and the parade takes 2 days!

A nice quick route could be halfway up and down River Road.

ROTFLMFAO I can see it all now..am a little confused getting blisters on my feet just trying to keep up Is MICKE going to be there in time for the parade? I have a real flag from Sweden that he could carry to represent his country... I bet he is the only one coming from that far away? I can't wait either...if it is not about WANEE don't talk to me!!

LTS - I think the halfway up and down river road sounds best...we have to be threr for kick off. I like d muleladys saying ealrier...if its not wanee don't talk to me.

Thank you RV Rat!! I was looking and couldn't find it. Yes it is time for the parade and SOS/BOS gathering info to be finalized...

I spoke with LTS and Owl and it has been decided that the first gathering of the SOS/BOS will be at the LTS party on Thursday at 4ish.

This will allow us all to be at one place and not running around all day on a time schedule...I don't know about you guys but I am leaving my watch in the car. The more streamline we can make it the better IMO.

Per LTS all are invited and all they need to do to get the location is to PM him.

Parade info...I say everyday around 11:30 we meet up at the horse stables and go half way up and down River Road gathering SOS/BOS. Meet back for a kickoff shot and roll out to the music. Would be a good way to get the toghethness vibe going first thing and get us all that party Mardi Gras mood (if needed parade route can be reevaluated at the THursday LTS meet and greet)

DOn't know if we have the golf cart option but I sure did like some of the suggestions like the keg on there...the Swedish flag, the guy from NO that has parade exp. We are going to be some Motley Fools! I love it!
