Hate to tell you this but hand sanitizer works on germs and bacteria, not viruses. Swine flu is a virus. The reason washing your hands works is that it washed the viruses off and down the drain. But, hand sanitizer is not a bad thing to have around in general. Good stuff for camping where hand washing is sometimes an afterthought.
