BTW, I hate the freakin Wanee chair mafia. Do I use a chair? Yes.

But I would really like to see the front area be designated standing room only.

Also, there is no fair rules for setting up the chairs. If you go inside when the gates officially open there are a hundred chairs already set up.

Chairs got in between me and my good time at BK3+1

Down with chairs, it is a festival, not a NASCAR race.

What do you mean? There was plenty of room in front of me while I took this picture...

:?:

My pic is too big to fit, but there were rows and rows of chairs with no one in them in front of the stage. It was a bit too much, in my opinion.

PS Nice Pic, I wish I could get mine to fit, I was standing in your pic, but I couldn't see me :(

I tried thr re-fitting and I had no success. It may be a small miracle that I know how to use a forum like this! Yea, I am talking about leaving the chairs all day, that is bush-league. I do not mind chairs, just take them with you if you aren't watching an act. We had 7 people in my crew and we brought 4 chairs. When the owners of the 4 chairs left to go for a beer, the others stayed and watched. At no point did we abandon them to take valuable dance space :D

Post Re: Chair Strategy
I was a Wanee virgin last year. I talked to many noobs like me and we agreed, any chairs left alone in front of the stages will be moved out of our way. The reason we didnt make a big camping chair pile in the middle of the main field last year was the rain, not trying to ruin anybodys chair in the mud. But if your too out of shape to stand for an hour or two, there is a special handicap area up front, or buy a VIP ticket. Thats why they call it "Festival" seating, that means NO CHAIRS. If you want chairs up front go to a theatre.
