Love Florida, miss some things about "up north" but for me, this is where I was meant to be.

Dart Dog, since I live in Tampa, let me know if I can lend you any advice as far as directions and what not. Tampa airport is beutiful and should be a snap for you! We are heading up Thursday evening.

I grew up in South Hempstead and went to school in RVC. Also lived in Baldwin, Freeport, and Shirley before headin' south for good. How long have you been on "The Island" for?
I am Going to Wanee with a whole bunch of ev LI'ers who are now scattered all over Fla. I graduated High school in 78 are we from the same generation???

I have been in Long Beach 8 months. Long Island about 2yrs. I grew up in Florida. So i did the opposite of you.

Im meeting up with friends that I made last year and some friends from Jax and flying in with my roomate. She introduced me to Wanee last year.

As far as the generation. I was just barely a twinkle in my moms eye in 78. I made my grand enterence in 79'

BUT!!!! Age is just a number. and Im super stoked to meet more people this year. Wether they are Younger, Older or my age. It doesnt matter

My buddy who is coming to Wanee (Rookie) from Lakeland is from LI West Islip..

So it appears we will have a fair share of Long Islanders at Wanee

We will all have to try to meet up and have a toast to L.I.
