i've avoided this thread because i have never understood how you (meaning me) could ever lose the camp site....
now that i've said it, watch me get lost this year.

and another thing comes to mind every time i see "how to mark tent space" is a dog walks up to the site,,,,,,,,nevermind....

edit: too funny,,after reading the posts again...,, i guess it's my goal this year to see if i can get into a state of "Lost"....the Wanee episode...

We've walked some of the back areas of the park and there are some trails that slither off here and there and have also seen people set up pretty deep back in the woods so I imagine that after a good hot day of drinking and dancing and pitch black that there are some that lose their way. Luckily we are in horse camping and I know my way out the back gate, left at the T, continue straight past the bathrooms, veer left a little, count x campers and hopefully fall in the right door. I've been in that state of "Lost" a few times.

Maybe I should bring some spray paint to discreetly mark my way back to camp on the ground!

If you crawl into MY tent in the early hours, that could be a HUGE issue.

TOOO F#$Y(&^ funny!!!! I have the gkid looking into a screened tent thing Maybe we shoud have LOST on it for all of the lost souls?? My luck Charles Manson, would be the one to fnd it What about silly string, would that work,,,the ants would eat the bread crumbs, the strung out hippies the skittles and so I think the paint sugguestion would be the best ...The gdaughter is the artist in the family so she is taking over the decorations/lighting part of this adventure?? I told her I used to tie dye pretty good but ...hell haven't attempted that since the 70's So they are going to surprse me She bought me two hippie shrts.. My youngest daughter likes them so well she had her go get her one....If I had the time I like to sew and could make these quite easily?? But ended up in the ER the night before last and whatever the Doc gave me I slept all day yesterday...Panic attack I think??? But they have to checkto make sure your not having a heart attack....JEEZ this stuff is crazy so needless to say I will be heavily sedated for a while...Peace all..........

I have a couple of oil lanterns and hang one up from a tree at night. The problem is if I'm out too late or don't re-fill it it goes out and I'm stuck. Although we camp pretty close to the road between both stages I was stumbling around for about an hour a couple of years ago trying to find our site...
