 VIP tickets, worth it? I was considering the VIP tickets and was wondering if the view from the good stage was worth it. From the forum it sounds like a pretty chill vibe. I went to Bonneroo a couple of years ago and it was just massive. VIP tickets would have been very handy.

remember,this is just my opinion,,and i'm not a big VIP goer
but i do have friends that go VIP and to me this fest is not worth it.
you'll have some that HAVE gone to this VIP that will disagree i'm sure. to each their own...
because of the laid back style of this fest and how close and tight the grounds are, to me it doesn't warrant the extra $$$...to me.
as far as the viewing from VIP stands,the stands by the main field stage are off to the right side and to me they do not give any advantage to viewing or listening.
the other 2 stages,forget about VIP viewing stages,,it's all VIP viewing to me.....not a bad place in the whole site.
i think if you search around (i think in "pics of past wanee's")
you'll see that someone posted pics from the VIP viewing area.
i've never had any problem walking up before most any show and sitting my chair down in just about any place i wanted......with the exception of maybe arriving late at the main stage to get up close for headliners.....but to me,anywhere you sit at this place will be fine !!

Re: VIP tickets, worth it? I purchased the VIP...and for the difference between prices I should get spoon fed and a 3 hour massage each day. Even though I'm a Wanee newb, my experience with all other festivals leads me to believe that the VIP is always worth it.

Re: VIP tickets, worth it? Thanks for the heads up. View from the VIP area really didn't look that good. The food and beer would be nice but I can't really justify $200+ more for that stuff. I think I will go with the regular ticket this year to scope stuff out.
