 arriving thursday? i went to wanee 07 but i got there friday morning and met friends who already had a camp site i wont get there this year until around 8 pm on thursday how hard is it going to be to find a spot? im so excited i cant wait i wish i could freeze myself until wanee!!!! lol i love waking up to those huge peacocks squaking at you tent lol had to miss last year and would have missed it this year if it hadnt been pushed back so what a blessing that was!!

Re: arriving thursday? are you meeting people there? If so, have them rope off the campsite and save a place for you. If not, well.....
We got there by 1pm on thursday and by late thursday night, it was starting to fill up. There are PLENTY of places of to camp. Just depends on where you are trying to go. Good Luck

Re: arriving thursday? nope not meeting anyone this year im going it alone. i would love to go with some buddies but they are all bums with no jobs or money lol well maybe ill try and get there before the evening ill be driving from norfolk to savannah for a couple hours then to wanee so i got a good bit of driving ahead of me

Re: arriving thursday? I'll be there ASAP Thursday afternoon. It starts to fill in as the day goes on, but all day Friday cars continue to file in like an army. If you get there Thursday, you should be able to find a decent shady spot.

i should have some choices on where to camp....
i have some friends arriving that day also in an RV so we'll need to find a place for him since he did not reserve a spot....
which brings me to this,,,if someone needs some info or an update on anything,,you can call my cell.
just PM me and we can swap #'s.
matter of fact, if we want to start a list of cell #'s for any communication needs,it would be wise to send that list around thru PM's to keep us private here in cyberland.
sound ok? ideas?
