The new Derek and Susan DREAM TEAM! finally revealed...
This is a picture that Eric Krasno from Soulive just put up on twitter...

Apparently these guys were all jammin and recording some material this past weekend in Florida, probably Derek and Susan's home studio. I'm so excited! It looks like a pretty stacked crew!

This picture ...ahhh this picture....to only be able to hang out while they are jamming in the home studio. Just to be able to watch the interaction and brain bending sweet inspiration that they must draw off of each other...I would just probably sit there and cry from excitment. :P

Susan, Derek any time you extend an invite I will be there. I snagged a copy of Electronic Musician from Feb 09, cover hangs on my wall in the office, all about how his home studio changed everything.

This is exciting...almost makes up for having to wait 4 more days for the line-up.

I love Yonrico, but I believe that's Adam Deitch, the funkiest drummer on the planet :o ! And if Eric & Adam are gonna be at Wanee, I expect to see some Lettuce and maybe some Soulive. I'd love to see more jazz/funk at Wanee.

Lettuce would be killer! I loved them at Bear Creek.

I heard Lettuce was really good too. Didn't make it to BC but have heard a few mention that it was a highlight. Didn't DT sit in with them at one point?

Yes, he sat in with Lettuce and Dumpstaphunk. Everybody expected him to sit in with Soulive like he did the year before but he didn't. He was great with Lettuce, not as good with Dumpstaphunk. His style of slowly building a lead didn't really fit with their hard core funk. Galactic & The New Mastersounds also killed at Bear Creek. In fact I didn't hear anything I didn't like! It was a great time.
