Dave Schools is a WILD ANIMAL ON BASS. God I can't wait. Great posts and better humor. I love hush puppies and garages.

You guys are going to be shocked how similar we are. Very different but familiar, in a good way.

I honestly don't think anyone is REALLY concerned.....we are family. Can't wait to meet some good people. I love how wanee attendees "do it up RIGHT". Food, camping, grills, decorations @ campsites, etc. Is it really 3 months away?

I just hate that as Wanee expands their lineups every year, we lose out on the TRUE band that started Wanee! That's The Mule! Mule started this before they dubbed it the Wanee festival and they seem to be the ones that lose more and more time every year. Just a few years back it was 2 nights for 2 hours and now they seem to be an afterthought. I think thats a shame! Hell, give the Mule both nights of the late night jam.

Totaly in agreement with this post, just don't seem right

I didnt see the original post about Panic, but.... I have been at Wanee since the first one and I am a Panic fan too. I dont see them as mutually exclusive. Wanee has always featured a lineup for all ages and musical tastes. From bluegrass, rock, jam band, indie and oldies but goodies. I like the idea that the 'crowd' here are people who most likely would not have much in common in 'real life' but are here at peace for the love of the music. Everything from rednecks in oversized pickups, hippies in buses, and the dread crowd. I love the idea of the harmony. The music sings us all into peace with each other. There should be NO you and me here at all. It should be all of us enjoying what we enjoy!!

I agree f2photo. We (mrs wl and I) look forward to dancing to WSP for the 1st time and enjoying watching the seasoned WSP fans take it all in at the SOSMP. Life is good.
