Last year was the first year that there was a Wanee forum. Frequent forum members created this sub community known as the Brothers and Sisters of the Suwannee. It was all based on the brotherhood and sisterhood that is found in the spirit of Suwannee Music Park. We wanted to create a little community where music and peace were combined with friendship and sharing.

We planned on having a meet and greet with all the brothers and sisters of the forum. It turned out to be a great success and a new tradition was founded. My wife and I had such a beautiful time meeting all the people that showed up. We wound up with a bunch of new friends.

I reserved the same campsite and plan to host the 2nd Annual Brothers and Sisters of The Suwannee Meet and Greet at this year’s festival. It is going to a little difficult for us this year as we are going to be starting a vacation directly after Wanee, but I know we will all pull together to make this a great event.

Now is a good time to start planning and the first major question is: what time? I was thinking Thursday at noon. Well anyways, the planning is half the fun!

Noon it is LTS, I will be there on time this year, arriving Wed. (reminder to self, don't get to F'ed up Wed. night Like thats going to happen)

Thursday at noon sounds good Lou. With the 3 PM kickoff it will be tight making it to the 1st show but we just go with the wind and end up where we end up at. We'll probably be there a little earlier........we'll see.

I'll be at the park Wednesday by noon, so I think I can be at the meet and greet Thursday at noon.

90% marky? I saw a bunch more come and go than shown here. We need a camera set up on tripod this year that will take a shot every 5 minutes or so. Imagine the shots.................

We didn't make it to the meet and greet last year so I don't know exactly where it is. We are on River Road close to the entrace so I think we will be pretty close. I'm sure we'll find you guys, all we have to do is look for a big group of people with the Wanee Nectar smiles Looking forward to meeting all of you and making new friends!
