:) You've got the right idea with the Mom&Pop stores. Look for the ones with hand-painted signs, and, don't let any misspelling daunt you. They're business people, and, sort of, cultural attaches, and, not big on grammer.
The best thing I ever saw at one was a wallet made out of bull gator foreskins. You rub it, and it turns into a suitcase ! Ba-dump! Is this thing on ? < siddown, fool ! > No, sorry, no requests !!! :)

I plan on boiling peanuts and frying pickles and green tomatos and maybe some other things at my campsite.
