Congratulations to The Derek Trucks Band, who just moments ago were awarded their first GRAMMY! Already Free took home the GRAMMY for Best Contemporary Blues Album against some special competition, including Susan Tedeschi, whose wonderful album Back To The River was also nominated in the same category.

Yonrico Scott accepted the award on behalf of the band. We'll have more GRAMMY coverage for you, including Yonrico's journal of his time in LA, coming soon, but until then, congrats and thank you to you all for supporting dTb!

well deserved

I bet when you beat out your own wife for a Grammy, it's gonna be a while before you get any lovin' in the bedroom

congrats to those posted already who DESERVE a Grammy, have actual talent, and don't need to stand naked on stage or need to hang from the ceiling spinning like cirque du Pink to cover up the fact that they suck!
 Good post, your review sure works, for me ! My wife kept yelling the results from our office, while I was trying to read, and giving me a running account of who was doing what with who, onstage. I didn't care ! I was reading "Our Dark Side : A History of Perversion", and waiting for something dirty to happen. It didn't, looks like I should've watched Pink, spinning, and try to see some real pink, up in that asscrack !
[b]I'll tell you who was cool was this young rockabilly gal, Imelda May who sang "How High The Moon" with Jeff Beck when he did the little tribute to Les Paul

DEFINATELY one of the best moments of the entire show. it was fantastic!!
