I thought the guidelines said no bikes allowed? Anyone know how true that is? I would love to bring my bike.

I think it probably said no motor bikes. Bicycles are always allowed as far as I know. I did see a few last year. :D

my friend Lee takes his bike to every fest....
be warned,,you better have a mountain bike if you are camped in primitive.
the roads are sand and stumps.
one the music starts,i see no need for a bike ,,while others may.
it's a rough ride in most places and as good as i am on a bike,it would mess up my buzz.
I LOVE TO WALK !!! you meet some fine folks out there.

The bike thing would have been a nightmare last year with all the RAIN. I have disabilities that limit my walking "longgevity" and had NO problem walking all weekend. I did enjoy sitting when I got to my destinations, but compared to Bonnaroo, Wanee is a piece of cake, 20 minutes max from stage to my tent. Lots of people all the way to offer a seat if you, I, need it. If you bring a bike be prepared to walk it cause you can't ride it through a crowd of people.
:D Wanee :) wanee :D Wanee

I just figured that it would be nice to have going from tent to showers if I can't get a spot close to the showers. I plan on being there Thursday round noonish. maybe I can get a good spot.

The rules "Bring this but don't bring that" which is a topic here also says no bikes and recommends walking. There are bikes, I saw them the first year I came. I brought mine last year and was not hassled to ride in the main park. on the road between the checkpoints, basically between stages I was made to walk it. This makes sense because of the crowd. If there get to be too many and too many accidents they may crack down. I rode down to the beach and even self shuttled a canoe trip from the Spring on Sunday.
