Re: Should I bring a folding chair
For the most part, I think people have been pretty respectful of those that got there first and set their chairs up. I was never on the front row but when we left to go to Mushroom and back our stuff was right there. I've seen people come along and sit down for a while. When the owner comes back everybody's cool and guess what, new friends just met. My local Ace Hardware has a Mac chair with canopy on sale for $20. I think I'm getting one.

I'm sure I'll get my $$ worth, but I'm gonna look like this if anyone tries to steal it! to me, chairs should be restricted to the back. I don't think there should be a chair within 50 feet of the stage...especially if all you are going to do is stand up. but I will be respectful of everyone, and shake my bootay right in the face of anyone sitting in a chair in front of the stage. JUST KIDDING! Maybe we should bring blow darts?? Then we could hide in the trees and shoot whoever tries to steal the chairs better get a big lock and chain by all means shake your bootay !!!

Re: Should I bring a folding chair
I usually just bring a blanket to sit on, that way I don't have to haul the chair around and it doesn't block anyone from dancing or walking. I've gotten chewed out by those people who put their chairs all the way front row, because I wanted to go up front and dance and take a few photos for a minute. Chairs are cool with me, as long as people aren't so territorial about "their spot". Every year at Wanee I crack up at the rows and rows of chairs people put out at 11am, so they have their front row spot for the ABB, and that stops people from dancing front row to all the other bands at the stage that day...LOL

Re: Should I bring a folding chair
I'm usually so busy moving around I don't sit still for long. Constantly getting a beer, going back to campsite, checking out the other stage, etc. A chair wouldn't work for me.

Re: Should I bring a folding chair
Hey, work gave out these folding canvas chairs -with cup holders in the sides that fold up into a shoulder bag -instead of a raise last year (cheap bastids). Plus I got a couple as Christmas gifts one year. If anyone wants a chair (I mean seriously if you are flying in etc), I'd be willing to load up some extras to give away. They are new and cluttering up the garage. Please send me a message...
