To those who are unfamiliar with Devon Allman (the son of Gregg) you need to check him out at Wanee. He has been on the road, on his own merits, with his own band: Honeytribe.

Devon is a marvelously talented musician, as well as being a beautiful person. I believe the path that he has chosen is honest and correct. He keeps grinding it out on the road and continues to produce tremendous music.

I am not a spokesman for Devon Allman, but I can guarantee you that if you approach Devon before or after his performance at Wanee, he will greet you with open arms and thank you for your interest.

His set at this year’s Wanee is a must see. You want to talk about tradition? You want to talk about a family heritage? Honeytribe’s performance at the 2009 Wanee festival is going to be a magical moment. Mark my words. I urge you all to put Honeytribe near the top of your must see bands list.

Its gonna be hard to see everyone but I will make it a point.

Devon was so nice when we met him. He gave my wife a bunch of hugs and he sent us a friendly email when we signed up on his myspace page. He is really genuine.
