I saw this info on another festival at SoSMP website. I wonder if camping gear can be accepted at the office.
POSTAL SERVICE:
Items may be mailed or received at the main campground offices. In addition, the Official United States Post Office is located 4 miles from the site in downtown Live Oak.

I apologize if it has been brought up (I admittedly skipped a few of the thread's pages ;) ), but how is the traffic getting there on the first day? Am I going to have a 13+ hour type Bonnaroo wait? Will my camping spot be horrible?

2012 I came late night Wednesday and had zero wait. As long as you don't need a ton of space, you should be able to find a pretty good spot. Welcome to the fun. You are going to LOVE WANEE!! :)

I came late thursday 2012 the year that was the largest crowd ever from what I have been told and had almost no wait. We had to check in a golf cart and we were done with the whole process in less than 20 min. I may have missed the crowd though.

Allowing arrivals ANYTIME make festival life great. Checking in is never an issue at this park.

Wanee virgin here. I am coming solo from Baltimore and so excited. I am festie vet of Mountain Jam, All Good(5X), Roo, Peach Fest(2X), Vibes and a few smaller festivals. I have read all the info and appreciate all the great insight on Wanee. I am pumped and look forward to meeting a lot of great people. I plan on arriving sometime on Wed. Any suggestions on place to camp where other solo people will be camping?

Welcome to the Forum, BaltimoreMule

The Party gets started the weekend before.

You will still have a good selection for camping spots on Wed.
As far as I know there is no hot spot for singles or soloist.
The earlier you get here the better to find the best spot.

It certainly is :!: You're gonna' love this place. :D

If it's the same as years past you pay for camping @ the Park office on Wed or before, then on Thursday everyone has to go out get a wrist band and go through the Event gate.
