hi, this will be my first time to wanee, so i've read through this topic/thread pretty thoroughly. it is very helpful and informative, so thatnks yall! i do have one question to which i couldn't find the answer, here or elsewhere--that is how fast/slow does entry go? specifically, we plan on visiting my girlfriend's grandpa in south Fl for a couple of days, getting to gainesville to spend the night on wednesday, then driving to wanee in hopes of arriving right around noon on thursday. as i understand it, there's a fee for early entry anytime before noon on thursday? is that right? and, how long a line (if any) can i expect to wait in on thursday, and is there a better time to arrive to avoid siad line? i've been to a lot of festivals; getting in a day ahead of time at most the bigger ones i've attended has meant a line wait of about 2 hours. how's that fare with wanee entry? thanks.

Welcome fourcorner. If you have the full event pass then there is no extra charge to arrive on Thursday and the gates have generally opened at 8 a.m. in the past. What is a good time to arrive....good question. With the anticipated larger crowd this year I think it will be hard to tell. The earlier the better!
