Check this out. Yes I know, Mayernnaise's singing takes some getting over... and yes Jerry is Still Dead. This is audio of the whole show; the link takes you directly to Althea. Twelve plus minutes of goodness! John and Jeff rock their solos. I give this an A.

We were! Back at the office today.

We did Fri & Sat Dead & Co at Fenway.

Then on Sunday, we got up early... rented a car and drove south to New London CT and caught the ferry to Long Island. It was beautiful on the water. Drove halfway across Long Island to Patchogue for the last day of a fest there on the beach. Sunday performers were John Sebastian, NRBQ, Railroad Earth, Colin Hay (Men at Work), and Graham Nash. Ossum day of music; rode the rail for RRE. Mikey's favorite was Sebastian... he didn't know John wrote Nashville Cats, even though he's heard Del and the boys do it probably a half dozen times! Hot as hell all weekend, but we used sunblock and powdered our naughty bits and wore hats and drank lots of water. Lived to tell the tale, we did 8-)

Yesterday we motored across Long Island, dropped the rental at JFK and flew home. Bless the smartypantsphone; how the hell did people find gas stations near airports in the olden days?

It was a massively fun weekend, chock full of music. Just the way we like it :ugeek:
