There were vocals? Just kidding, I am not familiar with QOSTA, so I would not know if his vocals were strained. What I do know is that that there is POWER!

They are a collaberation of Zeppelin, Foo Fighters and Queen of the Stone Age. I think he is/was the singer of "Queen of the Stone Age". John Paul Jones was jammin' the bass for as old as he is. :!: 8-) :D

Actually, JPJ has been quite active since his Zep days, mostly dabbling in the progressive side of things. In the past few years he has been @ a few festivals as well. I have the album and if what Dave says is accurate, their next LP is even supposed to be HARDER. I will have to go and do some back cataloging on QOTSA.

Yes, Josh Homme is the lead singer/lead guitarist for QOTSA. He was also the guitarist for a band called Kyuss in the mid-late 90s. Dave Grohl was also the drummer for Nirvana, he guest spotted on QOTSA's 3rd cd as the drummer on a few songs along with fronting the Foo Fighters

I thought the Vultures were pretty good on SNL, I like the sound. I am not totally sold on the vocals as well, but it fits with the band---loud, rock, fuzz, with 1/2 part grunge, and 1/2 part dont fuk around!

Just keep hip hop, emo (not sure what that is exactly  :?: ), and cookie cutter rock bands off SNL!!!!!!!!!!

Just my opinion........... ;)
