It looks like I am going to have an extra day to hang out at Wanee on Sunday/Monday? Does anyone know how the fishing is? Anything in the Rees Lake? Hows the river?

:) Okay, this is what you should do. Getcha some of those brown 'n' serve rolls, aka, "asscrack rolls", some bacon, and some coon cheese, or, other brand of sharp chedder. Fry the bacon and render the grease. Break the uncooked rolls into pieces, and roll the cheese, and the grease into the dough, and make little balls. Chill, or, freeze them, if possible. Then, put them on a trebble hook, and fling 'em out into the river. Open a cold beer, and take a big pull. Wait for a catfish to hit, the size of a mama sow. Catfish stew for the whole damn crew ! :P

Once they announce that Kanye west will be added to the 2010 Wanee lineup, I might be bringing some fish stix to throw at the stage. I've thought about bringing some tackle myself, but then I'd have to worry about a 3 day license for 30 bucks, and additional cost for any special stamps for the county, river, private pond, park and then another addition for salt water on the way home. Doesn't seem worth it.

haha...gayfish

:D Make 'em fat bags, Alex ! I'll bring a big sack of Vidalia sweet onions, and we already got the bacon. We'll unlimber our minds, and during the lull, we'll let it mull. You can't rush a good thing like catfish stew, that's why it's, sometimes, called catfish mull.
I like mine Minorcan style with tomatoes and hot sauce, but, some folks don't. Mmmmmm, I'd love a big bowl with some asscrack rolls, on the side, right now !!! :P
