It is great that we have live recordings for history. There is no hiding, no over-dubbing.

I always loved this recording from my youth, and listening again I can see why:

Bring it back Alive was a great album....
had some good times at Outlaws/Molly Hatchet back then..

I was lucky enough to see the Outlaws in about 1978 when I was 16. It was guitar nirvana.
I remember it well. Probably because we didn't have the funds to get too messed up.

Rest in Peace Hughie and Billy and Frank!

Hughie died a couple of years ago but the band was making a comeback and sounding great. Now there is a legal battle between his family and that a hole Henry Paul. It's really sad that Hughie made an album before he died that never got released.

Yup, it's good times for sure. I wish ABB would allow electronic trading of their shows. Sure would make things a lot easier.

they allow trading of audience recordings, just not the instant live ones i believe

Yes, you can trade ABB audience recordings via the B&P method but not electronically according to the ABB policy. The "Instant Live" recordings are commercial products and legally should not be copied and traded.

I'd love to see them loosen up on the "electronic" policy. But at least they do allow us to record.
